Using LMD MIAME Features

LMD now features support for MIAME annotations.

Annotations may be uploaded in batch submission of experiments or during single experiment processing. 

For more information on MIAME - please see the specification web site.
In order to utilize MIAME features you will first need to login to LMD.  You should see a post-login screen that looks similar to that on the right.

When submitting a single experiment - simple include a MIAME file (with the suffix .miame) in your incoming directory.

A sample file may be viewed here.

Please note that the column names in the first column must not be changed.

The second column is the column that you edit for each experiment.

MIAME files may also be included with batch experiment submission.  For more details on batch submission - see the tutorial and the sample submission file.

Once you submit the experiment it is processed into the system.

You will note in the log that the MIAME file is uploaded.

When the experiment processing is complete you will see a MIAME icon on the experiment search results page.

MIAME icons will only be present for experiments that have a submitted MIAME file.

By clicking the MIAME icon you will see a screen that allows you to view the MIAME addendum for that experiment.
